Pedro J. Nunez, MD


Dr. Nunez is board certified in Family Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1994 and graduated from medical school in 1998 from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2001 from Bayfront Medical Center.


Dr. Nunez practice primary care medicine in St. Petersburg, FL from 2001-2005. He relocated to Cary, NC to establish West Cary Family Physicians.

Sarah Evans, PA-C

Sarah Evans, PA-C


Sarah Evans is a certified physician assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She received her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with minors in exercise science and psychology from RIT in Rochester, NY.


Sarah is originally from upstate New York where she was previously working as a family medicine PA. She enjoys getting to know her patients and working with them to provide the best care possible.

I have been with West Cary Family Physicians when it first opened in 2006. I specialize with insurances, billing, and ensuring patient satisfaction. My hobbies are triathlons, snorkeling, and enjoy outdoor recreation. I enjoy my spare time with my wife and 2 children.
